Matthew Perry is best known for his role of Chandler Bing on the iconic show, Friends, and it sounds like the 41-year-old actor might be longing for the good ole days with his buddies Rachel, Ross, Monica and the rest of the gang!

“I want it to start out, sort of build without asking that favor of those guys, but if we’re lucky enough to keep it going then, yeah,” Matthew told HollywoodLife.com exclusively about the possibility of a Friends reunion on his new comedy, Mr. Sunshine, at The Lili Claire Garden Party in Brentwood Oct. 3.

However, when we asked Matthew which friend out of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow would be the first to make an appearance, he acted like Meryl Streep in Sophie’s Choice!

“I couldn’t!” he said. “C’mon I cant pick out of those five. I would want them to all be there at the same time.”

Mr. Sunshine centers around a popular California sports arena and premieres in early 2011 on ABC — we don’t know how the Friends will all fit into one storyline, but we do know that episode would be EPIC.

Nick Jonas is set to guest star as a pop singer on the new ABC series Mr. Sunshine, starring Matthew Perry, reports USA TODAY’S Cindy Clark.

Jonas will play Eli White, an up-and-coming singer who wants everything his way before he performs at the Sunshine Center. Perry plays Ben, who runs the Sunshine Center, a landmark sports arena in San Diego. Ben finds himself scrambling to do everything he can to attend to the needy singer in the hopes that he’ll keep his commitment to perform at the sold-out show. The series also stars Allison Janney, Andrea Anders, James Lesure and Nate Torrence. A premiere date has not been set.

Hurley’s back–sort of. While Jorge Garcia may not be going back to the island, he is returning to ABC.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Garcia (Lost) will guest star in an episode of Matthew Perry’s midseason comedy, MR. SUNSHINE. He will play a worker at the second-rate San Diego sports arena managed by Perry’s character and will appear in the pilot, which is being retooled.

Perry, who is also a Mr. Happy executive producer, is a self-professed Lost fanatic, so this casting only makes sense.

Mr. Sunshine, about a self-involved arena manager (Perry) who begins to re-evaluate his life when he turns 40, also stars Allison Janney (The West Wing), Andrea Anders (Better off Ted), and James Lesure (Las Vegas).

MATTHEW Perry is proud that his role on Friends still influences modern language.

The actor — who played Chandler Bing alongside Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox among others — takes credit for modern-day sarcasm.

“It’s very flattering that it changed the way that people talked a little bit,” says Matthew.

“It’s that sarcastic way of going about things. That is just really flattering.”

Perry recently revealed he wants his former Friends costars to appear in his new show Mr Sunshine.

“People ask a lot about guest stars but we’re a little bit early for that,” says Matthew. “There’s a lot of talk about will I ask some of my former cast mates to be on the show, and I think ultimately, yes.

“In the third season then maybe some of them can come back, but I don’t want to use them as sort of a launching pad.”
